I’m Gelvis

Elvira Giannattasio, known as GELVIS, was born in Naples in 1974.

She has been a professor at the IED, Istituto Europeo di Design, in Rome, and has collaborated with advertising agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising), various companies (Kimbo Caffè, Acqua Ferrarelle, Marinella Napoli, Forte Village Resort) publishers (Sperling & Kupfer, Rcs, Mondadori, Hachette Rusconi) newspapers and magazines (Corriere della Sera, il Manifesto, Kult Magazine, Psicologia Contemporanea, IO DONNA) .

She has been focusing for some years on an exciting, all-round study on women’s universe in painting, in design and in fashion.

In 2012 she created ballerinegelvis, a range of hand-painted flats and fashion accessories, branded GELVISDESIGN.
